These freshwater pearls come with SOLID Sterling Silver hooks – not silver plated!
These Freshwater Cultured Pearls are sourced directly from a pearl farm located in Zhe Jiang province, China. No wholesaler, distributer or retailer doubling the price each time.
China is the world’s largest producer of freshwater pearls. Freshwater pearls are produced by inserting a tiny piece of mussell flesh into a freshwater mollusk. The mollusk surrounds the intruding tissue with a ‘pearl sac’ thus forming a freshwater pearl which is usually harvested in 2-6 years. Unlike saltwater Akoya pearls, the freshwater pearls is almost solid ‘nacre’, the pearl material secreted by the mollusk .
Freshwater pearls are usually not round, but have beautiful lustre and colour. They are typically less expensive than the saltwater Akoya pearls, as China produces over 1500 tons per year!

We accept payments through PayPal and Bank Deposit ONLY. Payment by Visa or Mastercard can be made through www.paypal.com
We ask that when paying via direct bank deposit, that you clearly state your eBay USER ID as a reference so it can be easily identified. Not doing so could delay dispatch and in turn taking longer for you to receive your goods. We thank you for your co-operation.

All our Items are checked prior to dispatch. If a buyer wishes to return any item considered unsatisfactory or damaged, an email must be received by Tropical Treasure requesting an exchange or refund (less postage) within 3 calendar days and goods must be received by Tropical Treasure within 7 calendar days.
Buyer must return goods by registered mail only and where exchange is required, include a stamped, self addressed mailer. Refunds will only be given on the product cost and exclude postage. Buyer must provide eBay User ID and bank details for a transfer of funds.
Tropical Treasure will not accept any returns without correspondence via either email or eBay message informing Tropical Treasure of the issue.
